Miasms

Miasms can be defined as the determinants of the health or the disease state of the individual. There are four types of miasms identified by physicians in which all the individuals can be categorised viz, Psora, Syphilis, Sycosis and Tubercular. Each has its unique categorized set of symptoms and constitutions and all individuals have to fall into either of them.
  • Simply, Psora miasm will include all superficial manifestation of the disease such as skin diseases, mental diseases and disorders. These type of patients are very hyperactive and may even be idiosyncratic (people who react to stimulus in a very abnormal way and in a very hyperactive fashion).

  • The Sycosis miasm includes people who have a sluggish constitution and suffers from disorders that make them even more sedentary and slumped. These people normally have a lymphatic constitution and suffer from enlarged lymph nodes and similar other ailments.

  • The Syphilitic miasm includes people who have destructive tendencies both mentally and physically. They normally suffer from destructive diseases such as cancer. People in this phase have to take extra care and precaution to avoid any severe physical complication, which Homeopathic medicines can prevent.
