You have traveled slow and steady before reaching this stage in your life. You didn’t get there suddenly. However, quietening of the mind comes only when you meditate for a long period of time. There are various methods to meditate. Some are passive while others are active – not in the physical sense, but in the sense that you actually do something during meditation. They all seem to lead to the same place.
