Sonoplus
Sonoplus Sonoplus
It is an application of ultra–sound for the treatment of both superficial lesions and deep tissues.

Uses: This therapy is indicated in cases of osteoarthritis, tendinitis, bursitis, capsulitids, spondylorthrosis and trismus. In this therapy, super short waves are produced and passed through the body by heating of tissues using condenser pads. It relieves pain and stimulates spanchric nerves. It also helps to increase the leucocytes (white blood cells) count and destroys microorganisms. Helpful in cases of neuralgia, peripheral nerve paralysis, rheumatism, scapular periarthritis, sprain, osteoarthritis, myositis etc.
Contra–indications: Avoid in cases of ulcers of the stomach, tuberculosis, tumors in the abdominal organs and heart diseases.
Endomed
Endomed Endomed
Effects: It helps in pain relief, induces muscle contraction without unpleasant sensation. It is useful in treatment of very sensitive areas (e.g. Stimulation of perineal muscles in case of incontinence).
Uses: Good for treatment of peripheral nerve paralysis, progressive muscle dystrophy, paralysis, muscle spasm, capsulate, fibrosis’s, maoists etc.
Mill Trac Computer
This traction is programmed through computer system. In this trac computer, the following tractions can be given:
  • Horizontal traction
  • Intermittent static traction
  • Intermittent force traction
These are helpful in cases of degenerative changes, cervical and lumbar spondylosis.
Wax Bath
Procedure: Molten wax is applied to the affected areas at 42–45°C. and allowed to cool to the body temperature in 10 to 15 minutes.
Uses: Like fomentation, wax baths are useful in treating chronic conditions like arthritis, arthritis deformans and deep–seated muscle pain caused due to sprain.
Myo–Matic
Myo&ndash Matic Myo–Matic
Uses: Helpful in cases of acute and chronic pains of spondylosis, osteoarthritis, sports injuries etc.

Laser Therapy
Laser Therapy Laser Therapy
The word Laser is an acronym for “Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation”. This definition aptly describes the operation of a laser consisting of emitted light which is therefore photonic and may be visible or invisible depending on its wavelength. The emission is first stimulated by electro–magnetic radiation so that the incident and induced rays coincide, resulting in a ray with strictly identical parameters (frequency, phase, energy). At its basic photonic level, the laser beam is no different from ordinary light. It is concentrated regrouping of photons emitted in phase that produces a coherent and powerful of photons emitted in phase that produces a coherent and powerful beam. There is no such thing as laser light, rather only a laser effect applicable to the light.
Uses: Laser Therapy is useful in decreasing the swelling and pain and is also useful in fast recovery by promoting the elasticity of ligaments, relaxation and bone and tissue repair. Thus, Laser Therapy is useful in muscle pulls, sprains tendonitis, muscle spasms, tennis elbow, swelling–twisted ankle, traumatic blows, arthritis and bursitis.
Vasotrain
Vacuum/Compression Therapy Unit
Uses: This helps in maintaining optimum blood supply to the lower limbs, which is often restricted in diabetic patients. In case of long standing restriction on blood circulation, the part may become gangrenous. Vasotrain helps in preventing/postponing amputation of such part. Helps in activating the peripheral tissues in cases of diabetes, gangrene, hypertension, radiating pain and burning sensation in limbs.
Cervical and Lumbar Intermittent Tractions
This traction unit is based on motor gear and lever system.
Uses: Helpful in treating cervical and lumbar spondylosis, degenerative changes.
Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulator (TENS)
It is one of the best established and the most widely used methods of electrical activation of afferent fibers of both muscles and skin. It is very effective in alleviating pain. Relief begins after a few minutes of stimulation, which is usually experienced as a mild vibration.
Uses: It is useful in muscular spasms, acute oro–facial pain caused by periodontal infections, cervical strain, migraine, chronic back pain, sports injuries etc.
