Is oral sex harmful?
Oral sex performed is not harmful if proper hygiene is taken. Getting rid of the smegma by pulling back the prepuce or cleaning the secretions surrounding the clitoris by water is essential. Man to woman oral sex, cunnilingus, is sexually exciting to the woman and can be practiced if there is no vaginal infection. Same is the case with woman to man oral sex called felatio. If the man does not have any genital infection, it is pleasurable to both. There is no harm if both are psychologically prepared and physically healthy for the oral sex.
Is it harmful to consume semen during oral sex?
No. Once used to the taste of the semen, a woman can actually enjoy doing felatio (woman to man oral sex). She may consume the semen without causing any harm as semen does not contain any harmful ingredients. On the contrary it contains proteins and the mineral salts.
What is the taste of the semen?
Usually the semen tastes salty but its taste can change with food or drinks, which are consumed before.
Can one get AIDS by oral sex?
For getting AIDS the sexual partner must be infected by HIV. Blood, semen and the vaginal fluid of lubrication contain HIV in more quantity than that in the saliva. Hence theoretically contact with any of these biological fluids during oral sex may introduce the virus in the other’s body if there are any wounds in the mouth of the performer of the oral sex. But practically it is a remote possibility because of the saliva. Therefore, the HIV positive person performing oral sex to the non–HIV positive person has the least chance of infecting the latter.
