Our background
Dwarka charitable trust is a parent body which is a public charitable trust, registered under public trust act. building. All Trusts are working in the medical field for last 10 years to serve the lower & deendayal hospital, scanning unit lower middle class families. We are welcoming the beginning of the new century with the slogan ‘Health for all’. New advancements in medical sciences are also coming up in their way to match the growing needs of the public at large. Deendayal memorial hospital which is a multi–specialty hospital with 200 bed strength is already rendering services in 28 different departments. It has kept abreast itself to accept the above challenge by making available the following additional ultra–modern facilities under one roof.

Intensive trauma unit (ITU)
This is open for 24 hours to meet the needs of accident cases under the guidance of ortho & neuro surgeons.

Urology
Visual laser ablatuin of prostate (VLAP): This is a bloodless surgery by state of art laser machine.
ESWL: With stonelith machine, completeness of stone treatment is assured.
Endovision surgery: All types of endovision surgeries are covered in this unit by state of art rigid & flexible scopes and high resolution video monitors.
Phaco emulsification system: This is stichless cataract surgery by alcon’s phaco emulsion machine.
Cardiac unit – NHI of DMH: The above facilities are calculated to reduce the patient’s agony and ensure faster recovery enabling him early discharge from the hospital.

In addition to the 28 departments including the above special arrangements, the hospital has extended its CCU activity by establishing a new branch called “National heart institute” in the same premises at pune. This new branch is housed in the upper three floors of the hospital building. The institute has several features that are unique to this city/western Maharashtra, to make available the most comprehensive cardiac care for cardiology and cardiac surgery.

The world’s best “Sonos 5500” color doppler echocardiography system from hewlett packard, USA that has features like harmonic imaging, Tissue doppler echocardiography and contrast echocardiography that NONE of the other centers in pune can offer. The world’s best GR’s I CV + fully digital cardiac catheterization laboratory with many features such as figaro edge enhancement software that are not available in this part of the country. Two fully featured CVTS operation theatres with the highest standards of OT services that match/are performed at the best theatres in the country. A well equipped recovery room/separate ICU for patients undergoing angiograms and angioplasties, first of its kind in pune. A 24 hr. ambulance service to pick up and also to reach patients home.

OPD Cardiologists & Cardiac Surgeons: Morning 10 a.m. to 12 noon, afternoon 3 to 5 p.m. and evening 6 to 8 p.m.
