The problems of a disabled person are varied. Then, there is also basic ignorance and apathy which they have to consciously deal with.

It is to bring such individuals together and provide them with a common platform to share their grievances that the Disability Support Group has been started. For both family members and the disabled person, life can be very tough especially when coping with everyday realities. The disability support group seeks to provide a common platform to disabled persons a forum wherein they can meet, share their grievances and provide each other with moral support.

Domestic violence in disabled women

I'm writing an article on domestic violence in disabled women.Domestic violence is prevalent in this community and can include abuse by spouses,boyfriends,family members,“friends” and caregivers.An abusive situation can be particularly difficult for a disabled person to overcome,as dependence on others,and inaccessibility to victim assistance,very often complicate the problem.Discussion of domestic violence is critical in fighting it.If you are a disabled woman who has been affected by domestic violence and would like to share your story,please contact me at journal.research@gmail.com.
