Do not ignore your heart, just under the belief that you are young', this was the message by city–based cardiac consultants 'Just For Hearts' (JFH) on the occasion of World Heart Day observed on Monday.

With the average of a person suffering from heart disease coming down to early 30s, the number of online queries received by JFH has increased remarkably.

As the consultancy has completed a year on Monday, its founder director Dr Ravindra Kulkarni said, "During a year, we received over a thousand heart–related queries online through our blog and website. Under the theme of corporate wellness, it is essential for companies and organisations to invest in physical and mental well–being of its employees. With the increase in the competition levels and the pressure to perform, youngsters are faced with the problems of stress at a very early stage."

Amongst youngsters, the JFH is receiving a large number of queries from college students. "To bring awareness about exam and study–related stress, associated with heart problems, we are going to address various colleges of professional courses," he added.
