Minister of state for social justice and empowerment D Napolean inaugurated the fourth international conference on schizophrenia, organised by the Schizophrenia Research Foundation, a voluntary organisation, on Friday.
Psychiatrists from across the world are to speak on issues associated with mental health, including research on psychotic disorders in India, psychiatry training and research, communitybased mental health programmes involving young people in suicide prevention, and a national mental health programme for India.
