Emergency Medical Response Service-108 would be extended to all the 50 districts of the state by the end of the year
The Madhya Pradesh government announced to launch the Emergency Medical Response Service-108 in all the 50 districts of the state.

The decision was made at the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, an official statement said.

The service is currently available in nine districts. It will be extended to all districts this year itself, and for this 150 ambulances will be purchased, the statement added.

At present the "108" service is available in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Rewa, Sagar, and Jabalpur. Datia, Damoh and Sehore districts were added to the list on Tuesday, reports IANS.
