Kolkata based Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals Limited (AGHL) will open an information centre in Imphal shortly.

It was announced by its Chief Executive Dr Rupali Basu in a press meet conducted at Manipur Press Club today.

Dr Rupali said that the centre will take care of all the queries of the patients and meet their medical requirements like fixing up of appointments, travelling and lodging arrangements along with post treatment follow–up schedules.

The centre will link Imphal with the hospital through their state–of–art telemedicine facilities, she added.

AGHL is also putting up a proposal to the State Government for an empanelment, Rupali said and added that it would also create special and affordable packages for open heart surgery, kidney transplant and other complex surgeries for the people of the State.

AGHL is a joint venture of Apollo Hospitals group, Asia’s largest health care group and Parkway Health, a leading health care provider in Singapore.
