If you thought that the T20 cricket is only about glamour and revenues, then hit the stands at Reliance Stadium and GSFC ground on January 27. World’s first–ever cricket league for physically challenged will be played at four different cricket grounds in the city. The three–day tourney has been organised on the lines of glamorous and cash–rich Indian Premier League (IPL).

Twelve teams from different parts of the country will participate in Indian Disable Premier League (IDPL) that will also be played at P&T Morbaug Ground and Railways Stadium. The league has been organised to encourage physically–challenged people and also make the game popular among them. Those playing in the league are physically challenged but they have the much–required spirit and motivation to play such physically demanding game.
