Introduction


Disability Can Often Be In The Mind 

"What is disability –- your frame of mind is the real disability".  Let us change our attitudes and help change others.  Make a commitment to end unfair and unfounded prejudices.  Open minds and doors to people with disabilities.  Repeat in speeches, writings and films, three words: Disability, Equality, Liberty.  Listen to disabled people.  Serve them.  Work with them. Travel with them.  Shop with them.  Have them as your friends.  Our immediate physical environment should reflect our understanding and sensitivity to the needs of the disabled.

People with disabilities are valuable to society because they're in a position to help us learn how to deal effectively with personal vulnerability.  We at aarogya.com, try to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.  It is not tragic to live in a wheel chair.  Disability only becomes a tragedy when society fails to provide the things one needs to lead one's life in that condition.Here are a few forms of disability that are very common in the community, which we as "normal" people are unaware of:
